This is a small guide to help you in playing 3gp format videos from your computer. 3gp format is a video format used by all video playing mobile phones like Nokia, Sony Ericcson, Motorola etc. which you forward to your friends mobiles using bluetooth. However, I would suggest you to use either GOM player or KM player because with these two players you can watch any video file in any format and you do not need to install anything else too and these are not very big players but their size is almost around one-tenth the size of the latest Windows Media Player and they can play all files whereas Windows media player cannot play all and if it plays some other files too, you need to download codecs which means more space of your computer wasted. Believe me GOM player and KM player are very good and it would not use much space in your computer too (GOM player is even smaller than KM player). You can download the two players from out here.

Hi cyberguy,

You can use the Gom player or the KM player to play the files directly. Install the Gom player and then use it for playing any kind of video files.


Moreover, I could suggest you another good way for playing any kind of files. Download the klite codec package from the website www.codecguide.com

Then install the codec package in your computer and you can play any kind of files using your normal windows media player itself. Moreover, a player named media player classic also comes free with the package. I would suggest you to install the klite codec package.

Hi sonoimyjan  to the forums,

What is the problem you are facing with downloading files from Rapidshare. Rapidshare is the world's most popular file sharing website.   

Ok let me explain,

When you open the rapidshare download link, a page would appear where it is written a lot of plans and there are mentioned two kind of downloads - one free and one paid.

Click on the free button towards the bottom right side of the page and then you can see a page where you would be told to enter a confirmation code. Type the confirmation code as mentioned like you do with easy share and then the file would start downloading. Hope that helps.

I have downoaded som clips of small bits and some bits with...huge bits which took me some time ..noe the prob is some clips are playing ... thrugh code..
but not some of them...wghen i uninstall tghe other versions of the codecs they are playing...and the one which played are noy getting played ..with this codec..
help me out...

and one more thing...i alredy have K Lite Mega Codec 1.50 , 2.71 and 3.2 ...
